Not again!

Well, less than a year ago, Samantha hit the top of her head and split it open, which required 3 staples - she handled it w/o a wince!

Sadly, last night Samantha fell and hit her left eyebrow on the edge of the end table, and split a wide-mouth gash, just shy of an inch. Because this wound was on the face, Sammie had to undergo actual stitches, which required a shot to numb her head. This was very traumatic for her, since she was just building a 'relationship of trust' with the doctor and nurse, only to have them put her in a papoose and inflict pain.

Six stitches later, Samantha's a bit emotional, but doing fine otherwise. She still races around with explosive energy, and I just hope and pray two STITCHING moments are enough for a few years ;-)
