If you know me, you KNOW I take hundreds of pictures, and then spend hours perfecting them.......... Well, I'm not done, but the request for pictures has been mounting, so I am finally posting a few of my favorites.
My mother left last Friday, and she is sorely missed. She did inform me before she left, though, that her busiest times at home were when she had four little ones . . . SHE's RIGHT! It seems silly to bundle up and pack up four kids into the van to drive Anastasia 3 minutes to school, but what do you do?... It's crazy, but we're happy!
Gabriel's delivery was fast. I labored for a few hours at home, and then it came fast. We arrived at the hospital five minutes to 6 pm, and Gabriel was born at 6:28 . . . Little close :-D
As I have said before, this delivery was a wonderful experience for Paul and I - we really worked as a team, and the angels were there attending the arrival of Gabriel into this world. It really was heavenly.
One final note about Gabriel - he is such a beautiful baby, and just precious to have around. And I must say for the record, that I think heaven will smell like a newborn baby - it's the smell of innocence!
